Dear Western Michigan CPCU Chapter Members,
We hope that you and your families are safe and persevering through this pandemic. As we continue to navigate this unprecedented time, we wanted to reach out and let you know how our chapter is doing. We’ve had to cancel our luncheons in March, April, and May and will be postponing the golf outing in June. We are checking into the logistics of still holding a golf outing or some other fundraiser for scholarships in August or September. At this time we are still planning on our fall luncheons in September, October, and November, but we will keep you posted as the COVID-19 situation is still fluid.
In the meantime, if you’re looking to continue exploring insurance topics during while practicing social distancing, there are resources available from the CPCU Society website along with free webinars on various industry topics. As one option, we have attached an invitation to a free Cyber Crime and Liability Coverage webinar being held by the Greater Detroit CPCU Chapter next Wednesday, May 20th.
